Ahmed Bayoumi is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in private equity, venture capital, and economic research. he has over than 15 years of experience as an Investment Manager at Banque Misr Private Equity – Real Estate Sector, he oversees a portfolio of EGP 20 billion, managing investment strategies, conducting due diligence, and leading high-impact transactions such as the launch of the Belmazad real estate auction platform and the restructuring of Misr Abu Dhabi Real Estate Development Company. Previously, Ahmed played a key role in Banque Misr’s Venture Capital Department, where he contributed to structuring investment policies, launching acceleration programs, and sourcing deals. His expertise in financial modelling and deal structuring was instrumental in the establishment of Egypt’s largest Fintech GP-LP fund (USD 85M initial close, target USD150M) and preparing the USD 5 billion IPO of “e-finance”. In addition to his investment career, Ahmed served as a Vice President of the Economic and Energy Studies Unit at the Egyptian Center for Strategic Studies, where he authors in-depth research on macroeconomic trends and participates in high-profile national conferences. Ahmed holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea, where he received the Best Thesis Award and Leadership Award. He is also CFA Level 1certified, has passed the Certified Financial Technician (CFTe) Level 2 exam, and has completed a Private Equity and Venture Capital diploma at AUC (Grade: A+).His skill set includes financial modelling, investment management, due diligence, portfolio risk analysis, and strategic economic research. He is fluent in Arabic and English with a working knowledge of Korean.
